It’s not my job to re-invent fitness or develop the next “big thing.” My job is to get you moving by utilizing simple, yet effective exercises to help you reach your goals by:

A Fit You uses one on one in-home personal fitness programs. Each personalized program is fully customized to your individual goals and needs. With a positive focus and attention to detail I work with people who want to be active or those that are active and want to improve. I will give you the tools and insights that move you further in your pursuits, whether it’s simply feeling better about yourself, being more active, running your first 5K or finishing your first triathlon.
During the FREE initial consultation, we will discuss what it will take to help you live a healthier lifestyle. This includes a review of your medical and fitness history, a discussion about your current nutritional plan, a short exercise session to assess your strength and conditioning levels, as well as simple body composition tests that we will use to measure your progress throughout the program.

We will work together to formulate an on-going personal exercise program and nutritional guidelines. We will collaborate to set attainable goals, and develop a program that will maximize your results. As you achieve your goals, we will fine-tune your program to progressively increase your results by carefully measuring and monitoring your progress.

Whether it’s no carbs, all carbs, no fat, low fat or calorie counting, the list goes on and on and will wear on your patience after a short period of time. A dedication to your fitness as well as a healthier nutritional plan will last as long as you choose. Finding the right balance of what works for you and your family should be your goal. Proper nourishment of your body is important for a sustainable fitness level. The types and amount of food you consume significantly impact how you feel now and in the future. Small improvements to both can alter how you feel and perform in your day-to-day life as well as your new fitness program. I want to help you become more aware of your habits and identify small things that will make a difference. You will discover better ways to fuel your new healthy lifestyle.
Finally, this is not a dictatorship it is a relationship; we must always share an open line of two-way communication. Sure, there are going to be a lot of times when I am “telling” you what to do. Whether it’s an exercise to try or the proper way to do it, but we need to communicate about what’s working and what might need some adjustments.
We must always be honest with each other. We can’t sugarcoat things. I need to tell you the truth, even if it’s not pretty or something you want to hear, and you need to tell me your true feelings even if you’re worried about what I may think. Not only that, but you need to be honest with yourself. You can’t lie to yourself about the work or effort you’re putting into this program. We will not be together 24/7, so if you’re not following the program, skipping workouts, not eating right and lying to me (and yourself) about it, you’re not going to get the results you want.
